Brampton sits far enough from Lake Ontario that it often keeps snow while south Mississauga flips to rain. It is still Peel Region: the public and Catholic boards are the same pair as Mississauga, and STOPR is the consortium those boards describe for Peel students.
The preloaded setting is urban because the city is dense, but many secondary runs are long. If your route leaves the built-up area toward Caledon, switch the setting to rural and read the bus score again. Caledon is part of Peel; it does not have its own page here.

Questions parents ask
Is Brampton on the same bus system as Mississauga?
STOPR serves Peel Region, which includes both cities and Caledon. A cancellation can still be uneven across the region. Read the zone or route note STOPR actually posts.
Why is Brampton not marked as a snow belt?
The saved profile uses typical snow tolerance, not the higher tolerance used for Barrie or the London–Kitchener snow-belt cities. Lake-effect bursts still show up as centimetres in the forecast.
