Saskatchewan school divisions decide for their own students. This site does not yet have city pages for Regina or Saskatoon. The forecast on this page is for Regina, and the search box accepts any city or postal code in the province. Adding a city later is a single entry in the city data file; the sitemap and this page's future list will pick it up.
The provincial default is a typical snow tolerance and high cold sensitivity. Blowing snow on open grid roads and wind-chill mornings both show up in the factors. A calm 8 cm in the city is a different problem from the same snow with 80 km/h gusts on a rural route. Use the rural setting if that is the trip.
We do not publish a closure history for Saskatchewan divisions, and we do not invent a temperature that 'always' closes schools. Thresholds, where a division publishes them, belong on that division's site.
There is no city page in this province yet. Use the search above with a city or postal code. Adding a city is one entry in the city data file.

Questions parents ask
Why is there no Regina or Saskatoon page?
The first set of city pages covers 25 communities. Saskatchewan's hub is here so families can still run the forecast. A later city page is one new object in the city list, not a new template.
Who do I check in the morning?
The school division that operates the school, and the transportation office it names. There is no single provincial snow-day list that replaces those sites.
